1973: From camper vans to kaftans...

We all might have thought about roaring off into the sunset – well Peter Simon actually did it – and Monsoon is born after his epic road trip across Asia in the 1970s. Inspired by the beauty and individuality of indigenous crafts and fabrics, he begins working with local producers and artisans. These hand-crafted bohemian roots form the backbone of the company and still do so today. We are not claiming to be perfect, but are proud of Monsoon's ethical heritage. You can find out more here.
